Miriam's Cup
Copper Metallic Glaze
8.5 x 4.5 inches
$175

Miriam's Cup is filled with water and placed on the Passover table. This relatively new tradition evolved to remind us of the prophetess Miriam and her role in the story of the Jewish people. Miriam was one of the few women we hear about in the Bible. She represents life giving water, as well as music and song. This Miriam's Cup merges the image of her tambourine with goblet style cup. The base has twelve rings which symbolize the twelve tribes.
